Love Written In Black is composed with restraint and intention.
The opening is precise. Black pepper CO₂ introduces a dry, aromatic heat, sharpened by the bitter depth of coffee absolute. Together, they set a controlled, modern tone.
At the heart, Turkish rose absolute and Bulgarian rose otto appear dark and polished, floral without sweetness. Their presence feels textural and grounded rather than romantic. Olibanum resin weaves through the composition, adding a soft, resinous warmth with a subtle, meditative edge.
The base settles into aged patchouli and creamed sandalwood. Earthy, smooth, and quietly persistent, they anchor the fragrance close to the skin and give it lasting presence.
